Mid-Level Structural Engineer (Southeast US)

Pond & Company is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer for its Professional Design Services team. The role leads structural design and analysis projects, mentors junior engineers, supports proposals, and advances building-system designs from concept plans through construction documentation.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related design engineering experience and will take a leadership role in structural design and analysis projects
• In this position, you will mentor junior engineers while supporting proposal efforts and working on projects spanning multiple markets and geographies
• You will be responsible for moving efficiently through various design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related design engineering experience
• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of related structural design and/or analysis experience
• Proficiency with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM
• Experience mentoring and training employees
• Proven experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts, and interfacing with clients
• Ability to work well within a team environment, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and produce high-quality work
• A strong desire to learn and grow professionally
• PE/SE license is a strong plus
