Hardware, Mechanical Power Engineer - Federal Customer

Dell Technologies is hiring a Hardware/Mechanical Power Engineer to support Dell Mission Operations by designing, integrating, validating, and sustaining mission infrastructure. The role focuses on systems analysis, hardware integration, power and mechanical considerations, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Support system design, requirements analysis, and technical solution development
• Integrate and validate hardware, infrastructure, and subsystem components
• Develop or execute test plans, procedures, and technical evaluations
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving systems, hardware, or infrastructure
• Contribute to rack, power, cooling, cabling, and physical integration planning as applicable
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and support artifacts
• Coordinate with security, network, automation, and field teams during implementation
• Recommend improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability

Requirements:

• Experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and support system integration efforts
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, validation, or lab/test activities
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program
• Experience with data center, lab, or secure infrastructure environments
• Experience with power, mechanical, or environmental support considerations
• Experience with vendor coordination or hardware lifecycle planning
• Familiarity with modeling, design reviews, or structured engineering methods
• Experience supporting government or classified programs
