The role owns product features end to end, from identifying user problems and testing ideas to shipping frontend and backend experiences, in collaboration with research engineering.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Have shipped and owned a well-designed consumer product from zero to real users, across frontend and backend
• Understand your systems deeply enough to spot immediately when a PR is wrong, insecure or needlessly complex
• Show excellent product judgement: you know the most valuable thing to build, and what not to build
• Work autonomously with minimal direction, and take responsibility for fixing problems as you find them
• Have a real interest in music, or in the people who make it
• with the ability to operate in GMT-5 to GMT+1 timezones required
• Open-source or GitHub track record
• experience building music or audio products
• experience with recommendation systems or embeddings
