Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer (Cloud Operations Software)

MontyCloud is hiring a Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer to support cloud operations software sales and customer implementations. The role translates customer requirements into cloud solutions, demonstrates the software, supports customers through implementation, and designs AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored cloud solutions
• Conduct technical presentations and workshops to demonstrate the capabilities of our software and its integration within existing environments
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to customers during the implementation and post-implementation phases
• Work closely with product development teams to provide feedback on product enhancements and customer needs
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud operations and MSP services
• Participate in customer meetings, providing technical expertise and support to strengthen relationships
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation and training materials for clients and internal teams
• Design, architect, and implement AI-driven workflows both internally and for our customers

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar technical role, with a focus on cloud operations software
• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions for MSPs or enterprise clients
• Strong familiarity with AI technologies, including experience with prompt engineering and MCP integration
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
• relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
