Civil Engineer: Project and Quality Control Manager

Cross Engineering Services LLC is seeking a civil engineer to serve as Project Manager and Quality Control Manager. The role designs and manages civil site-development projects, coordinates with clients and project partners, and reviews engineering work for quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare civil engineering plans, specifications, and supporting documents
• Perform site-development design, including grading, drainage, and utility systems
• Manage projects from initial concept through construction support
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
• Conduct engineering analyses and prepare clear, technically sound reports
• Review the work of other team members for quality, consistency, best practices, and compliance with company standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
• Candidates with EIT certification who can obtain a PE license within a reasonable period after hire will also be considered
• Six to 15 years of relevant experience in residential and/or commercial site design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project-management skills
• Working knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations, particularly in South Carolina and surrounding states
• Professional Engineer license preferred
