Director of Project Management

Oihana Consulting is hiring a Director of Project Management to oversee strategic initiatives supporting the development and success of independent agents. The role manages cross-functional projects and teams, improves execution processes, monitors performance and risks, and aligns project outcomes with organizational goals across training, licensing, and mentorship initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing strategic initiatives that support the development and success of independent agents
• This role manages multiple cross-functional projects, defines project scopes and timelines, and coordinates resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• The Director will lead project teams, implement and refine processes, and establish best practices for program execution across training, licensing, and mentorship initiatives
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project performance, reporting on key metrics, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement in how projects and programs are planned and executed
• The Director will collaborate closely with leadership and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, align project outcomes with organizational goals, and support a culture of accountability and operational excellence

Requirements:

• Strong Program Management and Project Management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure strategic alignment
• Experience with Budgeting and resource allocation to manage project costs and optimize financial performance
• Proven Team Leadership capabilities, including guiding cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration, and supporting stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated Process Improvement skills to analyze workflows, streamline operations, and implement scalable best practices
• Relevant experience in consulting, financial services, or professional services
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in project management tools and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field
• preferably in a remote or distributed environment
• advanced certifications in project or program management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are beneficial
