Sr. Product Manager- Insurance

Paymentus is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the roadmap and development of products for insurance and disbursements. The role oversees product development and launch, builds alignment with stakeholders, and measures the effectiveness of product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps, with a focus on Insurance and disbursement products
• Be the internal evangelist, build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties
• Define detailed use cases intended for engineering and design. Ability to stand behind your opinions
• Oversee product development and launch end-to-end
• Communicate status to stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time
• Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various stakeholders
• Measure and report on the efficacy of initiatives and develop action plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer science required
• 8+ years of product management, with 3 years specifically supporting Insurance/disbursement products
• Passionate about user experience
• Ability to dive into the technical details as required
• Track record in balancing out product priorities against budget and timelines
• Possess strong decision making and prioritization skills
• Be able to work independently, anticipating and resolving problems and challenging technical decisions
• Self-motivated and dedicated with proven creative/critical thinking capabilities
• Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• MBA preferred
• Preferred: prior experience in software development
