Sales Engineer - Healthcare IT

ARCA Consulting is recruiting for an established healthcare technology business. The Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant designs technical solutions, supports customer and sales engagements, and develops proposals and other technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• You'll work closely with sales, business development and technical teams to design solutions, support customer engagements and produce high-quality technical documentation
• A significant part of this position involves technical writing, developing detailed proposals and responding to RFPs/RFx submissions, so we're particularly interested in candidates who enjoy translating complex technical requirements into clear, compelling written solutions

Requirements:

• Healthcare IT experience is ESSENTIAL
• Strong technical writing experience is ESSENTIAL – including technical proposals, RFP/RFx responses, solution documentation and technical presentations
• 5+ years' experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting or a similar technical role
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR and integration technologies
• Experience designing technical solutions and supporting complex sales opportunities
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Applicants must be both US residents and authorised to work in the US, without the need for any sponsorship
• Previous healthcare IT experience is a mandatory requirement
• Strong technical writing and proposal development skills are equally important
• ideally within healthcare interoperability, EHR/EMR systems, Health Information Exchanges (HIE) or healthcare integration
• Experience with InterSystems technologies would be highly advantageous
