Product Designer

Panacea Financial is seeking a Product Designer to create intuitive, user-centered experiences across its digital products. The role owns design initiatives from discovery through implementation, partnering with cross-functional teams to simplify financial products and improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery and concept development through implementation
• Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes using Figma and other tools
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Analysts to translate user and business needs into effective design solutions
• Design intuitive experiences that simplify complex financial products and workflows
• Contribute to evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability
• Partner with Engineering throughout development to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user experience
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
• Leverage AI tools, including Claude and other emerging technologies, to accelerate prototyping, experimentation, and design workflows

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably web-based and mobile native applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and visual design craft, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component-based design
• Experience designing complex user workflows and translating business requirements into intuitive interfaces
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of user-centered design, design thinking, responsive design, accessibility, and usability principles
• Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design decisions
• Self-starter who can move work forward without constant direction and take ownership of projects
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking feedback
• Interested in both user problems and business outcomes while considering technical feasibility
• Collaborative, low-ego, and team-first
• Approach challenges with curiosity, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset
• Fintech or financial services experience
• Experience working in startups or small product teams
• Experience in the medical/healthcare space
• Familiarity with Miro
• Experience using Claude or other AI tools
