• Someone who can mentor and lead a junior team and a hiring manager who isn’t deeply technical.
• Ex-Microsoft people who supported customers are the ideal profile
• Google Workspace is a strong plus

Need this:

Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 messaging expert who can mentor a junior team and communicate clearly with a non-technical hiring manager
deeply experienced in messaging who can also manage the broader Microsoft and Google environments.

Technical leadership and mentoring
5+ years administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
Texas preferred, but the role is remote.
Deep Exchange Online/M365 expertise, proven mentoring, and strong PowerShell skills. Google Workspace and GAM experience are major differentiators.

TARGET CANDIDATE

A hands-on, Tier 2/3 cloud and systems admin who can work across both Microsoft and Google environments. Must-haves:

• 5+ years administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Google Workspace, and Windows Server
• Exchange Online: mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, connectors, delivery troubleshooting (hybrid is a plus)
• Google Workspace: Admin Console, OUs, Groups, Drive and Shared Drives, security settings, SSO
• GAM for bulk admin, reporting, and automation (GAMADV-XTD3 is a big plus)
• Intune and Autopilot: enrollment, compliance, config profiles, app deployment, Defender
• Windows Server: AD DS, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, patching, troubleshooting
• Entra ID: users, groups, roles, Conditional Access, SSO integrations
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• ITSM experience (ServiceNow, incident/problem/change management)

NICE TO HAVES

• Microsoft Graph or Google Workspace API scripting
• VMware or Hyper-V
• Backup and DR experience
• K-12, education, or government experience (a real plus given the client)

WHAT WILL STAND OUT

The rare combo here is deep Microsoft AND Google admin experience, plus real GAM and PowerShell automation. Candidates who have run both platforms at scale, especially in a large school district or public sector setting, will rise to the top fast.
