Data Engineer

ADA is hiring a Data Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support large-scale data warehouses, ETL processes, and data pipelines. The role also focuses on database performance, reliability, security, troubleshooting, and coordinating project work with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and support large scale data warehouse, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Ensure database performance, availability, security, and reliability
• Work with data warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift
• Analyze and troubleshoot batch failures, database connectivity, access, and performance issues
• Perform SQL/query optimization and database performance tuning
• Understand customer technical requirements and contribute to database architecture, security, compliance, engineering, and operations
• Support database project activities, including database object creation and deployment across development and production environments
• Identify process improvements and maintain technical documentation
• Act as SPOC for assigned projects and coordinate with customers and internal support teams from India

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and data warehousing
• Knowledge of any ETL tool
• Performance tuning and query optimization
• Linux Server and Shell scripting experience
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
• Retail Marketing domain experience
