Located in Jersey City, NJ, this onsite contract position involves leading the development of a new data processing engine. You will work with large-scale data transformation technologies and collaborate with a team of expert engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build a high-performance aggregation platform using a data processing framework.
Design algorithms to optimize computational complexity of data aggregations.
Create a semantic layer over aggregated data for business intelligence applications.
Develop a self-service platform for defining new data aggregations.
Load aggregated metrics into high-performance databases for analytics and UI layers.

Qualifications

10 years of professional experience in large-scale data engineering within financial technology.
Expert-level experience with data processing frameworks and performance tuning.
Experience designing semantic layers for business intelligence applications.
Deep knowledge of risk aggregation methodologies and financial risk measures.
Strong programming skills in general-purpose programming languages and SQL.
