Platform Software Engineer

CareCentrix is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to bridge software development and platform operations through automation, tooling, and platform engineering. The role focuses on improving developer productivity, application deployments, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build automation solutions that improve software delivery and operational efficiency
• Develop internal tools, integrations, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and software engineering best practices
• Support applications running in cloud and containerized environments
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to platform modernization, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud adoption efforts

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of software development or related engineering experience
• Experience with one or more of the following
• Java / Spring Boot
• Python
• Node.js
• React
• Experience working with REST APIs and relational databases
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Git, source control best practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Sponsorship is not available for this role (e.g., H-1B, F-1, OPT, CPT)
• All candidates must reside permanently in the United States to be considered
• CloudFormation, Ansible, or helm
• Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms
• Kubernetes experience
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus
