Founding Chief Engineer

Intessera is hiring a Founding Chief Engineer to build and maintain the shared software platform behind its software-based professional experts. The role focuses on backend services, model integration, reliable workflows, customer data isolation, and turning repeated deployment work into configurable product features.

Responsibilities:

• Build services that let PXs use approved records and tools, perform assigned work, and record the basis for decisions
• Own model integration, workflow configuration, versioning, and failure handling
• Add task permissions, approval steps, and escalation paths that match each customer's agreed limits
• Keep customer data and process knowledge isolated while making the underlying software reusable
• Build automated tests and monitoring; improve reliability, response time, and operating cost
• Turn repeated deployment work into configurable features, working with customer-facing engineers
• Review changes, document important decisions, and troubleshoot production issues
