Position: Electrical Design Drafter III

Duration: 11/16/2026 to 11/13/2027

Location: Surry, VA-23883 (3-4 days on site, 1-2 days from home)

Position Overview: Seeking a highly engaged, team-oriented individual with a working background in computer aided drafting principles. This role creates and updates drawings used in electrical construction packages (i.e. single lines, wiring diagrams, plan drawings etc.). The position works directly with other department personnel as needed to clarify intent of designer and/or engineer sketches.

Top Required Skills

1) Demonstrated MicroStation and/or AutoCAD proficiency.

2) Proficiency in drawing and document management systems (ProjectWise & Documentum preferred)

3) Thorough knowledge of drafting principles

4) Ability to manage project workloads with minimal direction.

5) Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and schedules.
