Project Manager IS

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is hiring a Project Manager to manage cost control for chemical cleaning projects. The role oversees project budgets, tracks revenue and expenses, monitors forecasts and variances, and supports profitability through corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Responsible for project adherence for safety, compliance with Federal and State regulations and corporate policies
• Monitor, evaluate, optimize billing and invoicing processes for each project / customer based on specific agreements and contract details
• Must demonstrate responsibility for project revenue, cost analysis and control including all supporting documentation
• Evaluate internal processes, practices and procedures for continuous improvement and optimization
• Be the point of contact for all related revenue and cost correspondence with both internal and external parties for a project
• Evaluate proposals, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules against contract terms and conditions, rates
• Provides revenue/cost analysis support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates, and subcontractor selection and procurement as needed
• Ability to write and communicate with Clients and fellow employees
• Provide guidance to superiors and subordinates to meet budget expectations
• Be capable in providing timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates
• Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding customer issues
• Enforce the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety
• Work closely with field, branch, administrative personnel to resolve any issues in an appropriate and timely manner
• Ensures that financial documentation is precise and accurate and is representative for the financial health of a project
• Adheres to and ensures constant compliance with Health & Safety Compliance and regulations

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
• Financial tracking/monitoring and computer experience
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, completing deadlines and responsibilities
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with strong time management, prioritization skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are necessary
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, management, financial services
