Project Manager Data Center Rapid Deployment

Graebel Companies, Inc. is hiring a Project Manager to lead data center, rapid-deployment and temporary-infrastructure projects from planning through launch, operational handover and closeout. The role coordinates project controls, site readiness, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, risks and communication to deliver safe, timely projects that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery: Manage assigned data centre, rapid-deployment and temporary-infrastructure projects from initiation and planning through execution, stabilisation, operational handover and closeout. Maintain clear ownership of scope, schedule, budget, milestones, dependencies and deliverables
• Build and maintain project controls: Develop practical project plans, schedules, workback plans, milestone trackers, responsibility matrices, readiness checklists, issue logs, risk registers, communication plans and project dashboards
• Coordinate site readiness and mobilisation: Bring together vendor mobilisation, asset and material delivery, temporary infrastructure, workforce accommodation, utilities, connectivity, transportation, food services, security, facilities support and operational handover
• Align stakeholders and delivery partners: Coordinate clients, internal teams, vendors, contractors, suppliers and site partners around responsibilities, decisions and interdependent workstreams
• Manage commercial and financial performance: Monitor budgets, forecasts, expenditure, invoices, change orders and cost implications with Finance and Procurement
• Manage risk, safety and change: Identify constraints, dependencies, safety considerations and delivery risks; maintain mitigation plans, manage change control and escalate blockers
• Provide clear project communication: Lead meetings and prepare concise status reports, leadership briefings, decision papers and escalation updates
• Drive quality, handover and continuous improvement: Monitor deliverables, service levels and punch-list items and complete closeout documentation, lessons learned and transition notes

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, schedule-sensitive environments
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, together with project-management or work-management tools
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed for meetings, reviews, vendor visits, site launches and urgent deployments
• At least four years of project management experience in data centres, mission-critical operations, construction, infrastructure, logistics, temporary facilities, remote-site operations, workforce housing, hospitality, facilities services, emergency response or rapid deployments
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedules and budgets; vendors, contractors and multi-party workstreams; documentation and reporting; stakeholders; risks, issues and change
• Experience developing project plans, milestone trackers, risk and issue logs, status reports, leadership updates and closeout documentation
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, operations, supply chain, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience
