Growth Product Manager

Mechanism is hiring a Growth Product Manager to deploy AI systems across its portfolio companies. The role involves identifying business opportunities, building and testing AI-powered growth solutions, driving adoption, and measuring business impact, with the potential to own and grow a business line.

Responsibilities:

• Package the AI systems we've already built so they can be set up quickly at a new company, then deploy them. That can mean anything from connecting them to a company's tools and data to redesigning how a whole team works
• Sit with a portfolio CEO, learn how their business works, and find where an AI system would save time or make money
• Build working prototypes fast, put them in front of real customers, and iterate on what the numbers tell you
• Explain what you built and why in plain language to people who aren't technical, and get them to adopt it
• Run experiments across paid ads, funnels, lifecycle email and support, and know when a result is real and when it's noise
• Hand off anything that needs heavier backend work to our engineering team, and know when that's the right call
• Over time, take ownership of a business line and drive its growth with the tools you've built

Requirements:

• You've spent time in growth, or in product on a lean team, and you've run campaigns, outreach or experiments yourself
• You've owned a number like revenue, CAC or LTV
• Somewhere along the way you started building with AI, and you got good at it
• You've built AI systems that people actually use and that solved a business problem
• You can draw how the pieces fit together and explain why you built it that way
• You can write and ship code with AI tools
• You have side projects you're obsessed with
• You keep up with AI because you're curious, and you learn new tools quickly
• You're comfortable with ambiguity
• You communicate well with CEOs and operators and can make a complex idea simple
• You've worked at startups or small teams, ideally in DTC or consumer
