We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and reporting activities for a public sector organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with public sector budget development and financial planning.
Review, analyze, and interpret financial records and fiscal data.
Prepare financial reports for the Board, State Auditor, and Federal/State Grants.
Ensure compliance with governmental accounting laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Support financial reporting, budget administration, and accounting activities.
Prepare accurate financial documents, reports, and budget summaries.
Coordinate with senior management and external stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and regulations.
Experience with public sector budgeting and financial reporting.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
