Senior Software Engineer

RedEye Network Solutions LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own the applications and product surfaces for LogOutpost and Inquestra. The role focuses on fast search over large volumes of retained data, multi-tenant customer isolation, schema changes and migrations, and supporting the software through its production lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Own search so it stays fast at the volumes we sell
• Own the LogOutpost and Inquestra product surfaces, including the APIs behind them
• Keep customer data isolated — workspace, roles, identity — by design
• Change schemas and run migrations against multi-year retained data
• Review, test, and release through a normal software lifecycle
• Make the system explain itself: ingest, retention, why a query was slow

Requirements:

• Five or more years shipping production software
• Hands-on experience with systems that store and query data at volume — analytical stores, search engines, or warehouses — including query shape, partitioning, and what changes at terabyte scale
• Multi-tenant systems with strictly enforced isolation
• Track record of owning a surface end to end: design, build, ship, and support after it is in production
• Clear written communication for asynchronous work: reviews, design notes, migration plans
• Modern web UI, or a clear appetite to own it
• SSO / directory sync against an enterprise identity provider
• Software that runs in a constrained or self-hosted environment
• Anomaly detection as a product feature
