HR Business Partner

Verdantas LLC is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to connect its HR function with business units and align people strategies with company goals. The role supports business processes, employee relations, leave, organizational development, engagement, performance, retention, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating Business Processes: Initiating organization changes in Workday and VantagePoint
• Managing Employee Relations: First level support for group leaders and department leaders, general employee inquiries, developing job descriptions and aligning career planning tools
• Coordinating Leave Support: Provide general guidance to managers and employees on leave of absence. This is an essential bridge to the Benefits Team
• Fostering Employee Communications: The employee life cycle – onboarding, check-ins, pulse surveys, and exit processes
• Driving Performance Management: Supporting performance feedback, coaching line managers, and brainstorming engagement and development programs
• Ensuring HR Compliance: Maintaining compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ADA accommodations
• Working on Projects: Participation in special projects or committees

Requirements:

• with a min of 7+ years of experience
• Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Strong knowledge of IL state law & compliance
• Bachelor's Degree
