Sales Engineer

PowerStream Dynamics is hiring a Sales Engineer to drive sales of its energy equipment through technical expertise, customer guidance, and tailored solution recommendations. The role supports customers throughout the sales process, provides post-sales technical assistance, and builds client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the energy equipment offered, including its specifications, capabilities, and applications across various industries
• Understand client needs through discussions, product demonstrations, and technical presentations that show the advantages and suitability of our equipment
• Collaborate with the sales team to propose tailored solutions that align client needs with product capabilities
• Provide post-sales support by answering technical questions, guiding product usage, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while cultivating new leads through networking, industry events, and proactive outreach
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market demand to adapt sales strategies and strengthen product positioning
• Prepare technical documentation, including proposals, reports, and presentations, that clearly communicates product features and benefits
• Travel regularly for face-to-face client meetings as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a closely related field
• Five (5) years of experience in the industrial equipment sector or a closely related industry
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the job
• Must hold a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years of age, and have a minimum of three (3) years of driving history
• Must maintain a satisfactory driving record to safely operate company vehicles
