Senior Data Analyst (U.S.)

beehiiv is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to bring rigorous, data-driven analysis to its Growth team. The role focuses on optimizing paid channels and the user journey, improving activation and retention, reducing churn, and informing Growth and Product decisions through actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time ad network analysis, with a mix of reporting on and advising on performance (which campaigns are working, opportunities for optimization, interesting insights through the entire network, ad hoc asks, etc.). Proactive insights and analysis
• Develop and maintain experiments (A/B tests, feature flagging) to validate hypotheses and measure impact
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to improve tracking, instrumentation, and data quality
• Policing tracking and ensuring that we have the coverage we need as re release things, that it's showing up where it needs to, and helping us create a culture of self-serve analytics

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Growth Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a SaaS or high-growth tech company
• Advance SQL skills and experience working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, Metabase, or similar)
• Experience with experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing)
• Experience with ETL
• Exceptional ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or similar)
• Strategic operator with hands-on executional chops
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Work within the creator economy or SaaS experience
• Obsessed with customer and advertiser outcomes and accelerating network growth
• Clear and concise communicator, and can effectively develop cohesive data-driven narratives verbally and in written form
