Azure DevOps Engineer – Release Coordinator

Sentinel Technologies is recruiting an Azure DevOps Engineer – Release Coordinator for a client’s Software Development team. The role manages CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, coordinates production rollouts, and maintains release integrity across environments and services.

Responsibilities:

• This role is pivotal in managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, coordinating production rollouts, and ensuring the integrity of our client’s release processes across multiple environments and services
• This role will collaborate closely with other software developers, architects, quality assurance, and automation engineers
• You will be asked to contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of functionality and reliability for the company's software

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) is required
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment strategies is required
• Experience with Git, TFVC, PowerShell scripting, and .NET build processes is required
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams is required
• Extensive understanding of TerraForm and Infrastructure as Code is required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Familiarity with Jira is preferred
• Experience with Git-based modernization projects is preferred
• Knowledge of SonarQube, IIS server management, and Azure VM and Cloud services is preferred
• Prior experience in regulated environments with structured release protocol is preferred
