We're looking for a creative, Senior Video Editor to join StudioB! If you know how to turn great footage into content people actually want to watch, understand what makes audiences click and stay engaged, and love creating videos that stand out, we want to hear from you.
Location: StudioB, Mill Hill, North West London
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 December 2026, with the potential to extend into 2027.
StudioB is looking for a talented, hands-on Video Editor who understands YouTube inside out.
Your main focus will be editing engaging, high-quality YouTube content across both long-form videos and Shorts, helping us create content that captures attention, tells great stories and keeps audiences watching.
We're not looking for someone who simply cuts footage together. We want an editor who understands storytelling, pacing, retention and what makes content perform on YouTube.
You'll work closely with our creative and production teams, taking content from raw footage through to final delivery. You'll have the confidence to bring your own creative ideas, challenge edits and suggest ways to make content even better.
This is a fast-paced, creative environment where no two days are the same. You'll need to be comfortable working across different projects, managing deadlines and adapting your editing style to suit different audiences and formats.
The initial contract will run until the end of December 2026, with the potential to extend into 2027 depending on business and production requirements.

Proven experience editing YouTube content, particularly long-form videos and Shorts.
A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your YouTube editing experience.
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
A strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, pacing, audience retention and platform trends.
Experience working with multi-camera footage, audio, music and graphics.
Confidence editing different types of content, from fast-paced short-form videos to longer narrative-led pieces.
Ability to manage multiple edits and work to tight deadlines.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working within a creative agency, production company, creator-led business or digital content environment would be beneficial.
Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop or other post-production tools would be an advantage.
An interest in AI-powered editing tools and emerging post-production technology would be welcomed.
Most importantly, we want to see examples of content you've edited for YouTube and understand your creative contribution to those projects.
Before You Get Started
At StudioB, we actively use AI tools to move faster and work smarter, and we're excited about candidates who do the same.
That said, for this application, we'd love to hear your own voice and thinking. Please avoid using AI to generate your answers, as applications that appear heavily AI-generated may not be progressed.
