Project Officer, Centrally-Managed Projects

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation hires a Project Officer to coordinate day-to-day operations for assigned centrally managed projects. The role supports project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, budget tracking, and collaboration with internal teams, donors, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities, timelines, workplans, and deliverables
• Track project milestones and proactively identify risks, delays, or resource needs
• Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, including workplans, budgets, reports, meeting notes, and tracking tools
• Monitor project expenditures and assist with budget tracking and forecasting
• Prepare donor, management, and stakeholder reports by collecting and analyzing project data
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, trainings, and stakeholder engagements, including logistics and materials preparation
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of project activities
• Support monitoring and evaluation efforts by tracking performance indicators and compiling results
• Maintain organized project files and ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements
• Contribute to process improvements and the development of tools, templates, and best practices for project management
• Represent the project team in internal meetings and provide updates on project progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Health, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field
• 5 years related experience in a nonprofit, international development, or related environment
• Experience supporting project planning, implementation, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated experience managing or supporting USG-funded grants and contracts
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Proven donor relationship management skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams as well as Claude/AI
• preference demonstrated experience supporting former USAID contracts and grants
