CLAVET COMPOSITE SCHOOL - EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATE - TEMPORARY - 1.4

Prairie Spirit School Division invites applications for a full-time (1 FTE- 30 hours per week) and a part-time (0.4 FTE - 12 hours per week) temporary Educational Associate at Clavet Composite School, a Prekindergarten to Grade 12 school located in Clavet, SK, approximately 31 km from Saskatoon. These CUPE positions begin Nov 16, 2026, or as soon as possible and ends on June 29, 2027. The starting salary for these positions is $21.57 per hour or $23.06 depending on post-secondary education. 

Prairie Spirit School Division is the largest rural school division in Saskatchewan, with over 11,500 students and 45 schools located in 28 communities surrounding the city of Saskatoon, including three First Nations and nine Hutterian communities. Prairie Spirit has a dedicated team of professional and support staff serving Prekindergarten to Grade 12 students.

Preference will be given to those candidates who:

• Have training in a related field (e.g. Educational Assistant or similar course).

Applicants for Educational Associate positions within Prairie Spirit must be prepared to support students in the following areas:

• Under the supervision of a teacher or other professional staff, assist students who require intensive support in the development of gross and fine motor abilities and basic life skills by demonstration, physical assistance and manipulation.

• Provide students with assistance in dressing, eating, toileting, and transportation. An Educational Associate may be asked to administer medication in accordance with Board of Education Policy AP-413 Administering Essential Medication and Procedures to Students
