AI/ML Developer Intern – Multimodal Biometric Authentication

Pinitub Limited is seeking an AI/ML Developer Intern to research, design, prototype, and test biometric authentication technologies. The role focuses on facial, fingerprint, and voice recognition, multimodal authentication, model evaluation, and integrating validated prototypes into application workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop advanced facial recognition and face verification systems
• Explore face liveness detection and Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) to prevent spoofing using photographs, videos and masks
• Research fingerprint authentication technologies and evaluate integration approaches using device-supported biometric authentication
• Develop voice recognition and speaker verification prototypes
• Explore multimodal biometric authentication by combining face, fingerprint and voice signals
• Work with AI/ML models, computer vision, deep learning and signal processing
• Evaluate biometric accuracy, False Acceptance Rate (FAR), False Rejection Rate (FRR), Equal Error Rate (EER) and authentication latency
• Perform experiments, dataset analysis, model evaluation and performance testing
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate validated prototypes with application authentication workflows
• Prepare technical documentation covering model architecture, experiments, results and limitations
