Manages the application process from initial contact through matriculation. May coordinate one or more components of student/applicant admission and records offices within a school/department/division. May supervise or direct the work of support staff. Interacts on a daily basis with faculty, students, staff, other UAB departments and outside entities. Prepares reports and coordinates departmental events. Assists in resolving application database issues. May serve as a representative with the centralized application service.
Process graduate degree-seeking, non-degree seeking, and certificate applications for admission in Salesforce, the Graduate School's online application system, and CRM. Respond to emails, phone calls, chat messages, and in-person questions from prospective students and current students. Provide ongoing admissions and Salesforce support to UAB faculty/staff. Process admissions decisions after graduate programs have submitted recommendations to the Graduate School. Rapidly process transcripts for non-degree and degree- seeking applications; manage the transfer of official test scores to Banner and ensure student records are integrated correctly. Ensure that all enrolled students have satisfied admission requirements by verifying completion of all admission contingencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Salary Range: $43,890 - $47,000
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
