Develop and implement procurement strategies for the long-term material requirements of wheelchair production
Analyze and evaluate material costs, identify cost-saving opportunities and generate savings
Responsible for procurement in development projects
Conduct market research for selected commodity groups
Execute tenders and independently negotiate commercial contract terms
Supplier development including supplier selection, evaluation and analysis
Inventory analyses and procurement planning in close coordination with operational departments
Serve as the escalation level for operational purchasing

Degree in Economics, Engineering, or a completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., industrial clerk)
More than 3 years of solid professional experience in strategic procurement and in negotiating with suppliers
Very good MS Office skills, ideally SAP MM experience, and fluent German and English
High self-initiative, a pronounced hands-on mentality as well as analytical and strategic thinking
Strong technical understanding or a high level of technical interest
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for occasional supplier visits
