Role Overview
- Be knowledgeable of the Firm's policies and procedures
- Understand the rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA
- Possess an understanding of pertinent IRC sections and regulations
- Employ successful research techniques through the use of various research sources available to the Firm
- Prepare tax returns
- Supervise and review returns prepared by associate staff members
- Work independently and communicate with clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related discipline (four-year college or university)
- Minimum of 3 years related experience
- Proficient with computer and MS Office Suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Desired: QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, Adobe, Depreciation Solutions, Caseware, QuickBooks.
- CPA and/or EA licenses preferred
