Role Overview
- Uphold compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax processes for employees on international assignments.
- Handle tax consequences of global mobility and facilitate smooth transitions for employees.
- Reduce tax-related risks and costs while ensuring adherence to tax laws.
- Manage engagement team performance measurements and goals.
- Develop, mentor, and supervise Associates & Senior Associates.
Requirements
- Experience in reviewing Japan individual tax returns across all complexity levels.
- High level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for mailbox management and briefings.
- Leadership skills to manage the engagement team.
- Knowledge of firm policies related to confidentiality, data privacy, and tax return preparer guidelines.
