Advise clients on the registrability and strength of their marks.
File a high volume of trademark applications at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
Respond to Office actions.
Assist senior trademark attorneys with their caseloads.
Increase access to the law by helping small businesses register trademarks and spend more time giving legal advice than powering through administrative minutiae.
Contribute to Swyft Legal’s mission and help us strategically grow in our efforts to give more people access to legal services as we expand our services.
Requirements
License to practice law in Arizona or Washington DC
0-5 years of legal experience
Experience in intellectual property law
Passion for professional ethics
Strong organizational skills with the ability to clearly explain legal concepts to non-attorneys and clients
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong computer skills
A proactive, self-motivated mindset, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Patent bar license or license-eligible is a plus
