Role Overview

• lead design and implementation of advanced algorithms
• developing & optimizing ranking algorithms
• search personalization algorithms
• collaborating with data & search engineers
• collaborating with software engineers and architects
• developing and implementing tools & processes for monitoring performance
• collaboration with analytics teams for experimentation & A/B testing
• staying updated with advancements in AI, ML, & search technologies
• mentoring junior scientists and engineers

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the field
• 2-3 years being the main technical lead
• experience in varied search systems like Elastic, SOLR
• experience being the technical lead of multiple projects
• experience in API engineering
• extensive experience using machine learning and deep learning frameworks
• expert understanding of Python
• big data technologies including but not limited to Spark, Kafka
• experience in Agile working environment
• previous experience mentoring and developing junior members
• comfortable presenting results and influencing leadership
