About this role
Role Overview
Understand business area needs and translate them into analytical requests, hypotheses, technical requirements and execution plans.
Develop and implement advanced Machine Learning models, predictive and prescriptive analyses applied to activation, engagement and retention problems.
Design statistical methodologies for behavior analysis, segmentations, cohorts and tracking of key metrics, ensuring consistency, accuracy and reproducibility.
Evaluate the impact of campaigns and business interventions using causal inference methodologies and econometric models, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), uplift modeling and quasi-experimental approaches (Differences-in-Differences, Synthetic Control, Propensity Score Matching).
Develop statistical frameworks for measuring incrementality, channel attribution and marketing investment optimization, connecting analytical insights to strategic decisions in product, growth and partnerships.
Interpret and communicate complex information about physicians, patients and partners, generating strategic insights for product, technology, marketing and corporate areas.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Operations teams, turning data into practical, actionable recommendations.
Ensure best practices in documentation, versioning, governance and data quality.
Serve as a technical reference, supporting solution reviews, defining analytical standards and promoting Data Science best practices.
Requirements
Strong experience in Python, using Pandas, Scikit-Learn and XGBoost.
Proficiency in Machine Learning techniques, including regression methods (linear, logistic and regularized), decision trees and Random Forest.
Knowledge of Deep Learning (TensorFlow and/or PyTorch).
Experience with time series modeling (ARIMA / SARIMA).
Experience with NLP and Generative AI applied to structured and unstructured data.
Experience working with unstructured data (text, logs, etc.).
Strong foundation in applied statistics.
Experience with cohort analysis and user behavior analytics.
Background in experimentation and A/B testing, from hypothesis definition to result analysis.
Ability to turn data into actionable insights with a focus on decision making.
Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling.
Experience with Matplotlib and Seaborn.
Ability to communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Solid knowledge of SQL.
Experience handling large volumes of data (Big Data).
Software engineering best practices: Git, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), clean code.
Experience with MLOps and deployment: Docker, APIs with FastAPI or Streamlit.
Experience with Big Data and Cloud Computing using: Spark, AWS, GCP or Azure.
