Role Overview
**
- Produce high quality reports** **
- Assess, value and negotiate repair costs** **
- Provide vehicle valuations** **
- Negotiate total loss settlements** **
- Have a detailed understanding of salvage categories** **
- Claims management** **
- Liaise with Field planning team, repairers and customers** **
- Support other members of the team as and when the need dictates**
Requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Role:**
- Professional Excellence: Qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard, with proven experience leading an engineering function for an insurer or independent firm.
- Technical Mastery: Confident in valuing and negotiating repair costs, providing accurate vehicle valuations, and managing total loss settlements.
- Industry Insight: A deep understanding of salvage categories and the full claims management process. Essential Skills:**
- Proficiency in vehicle estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix.
- An AQP qualification is highly desirable.
