Act as the internal authority on ASC 606 and 805, specifically regarding principal vs. agent nuances, M&A integrations, and DeFi yield protocols.
Lead the drafting of sophisticated financial disclosures and MD&A for potential registration statements and SEC engagement. Lead the drafting of S-1/F-1 prospectus disclosures.
Design and implement SOPs for offshore teams while tightening the integration between our crypto sub-ledgers and NetSuite.

Experience transitioning from Big 4 Audit/Technical Desks into Accounting Advisory or In-House Accounting at a high-growth digital assets firm
You enjoy the 'puzzle' of building legal entity financials from high-volume, unstructured data sources
Proficiency in Workiva, NetSuite, and crypto sub-ledgers (Luca, TaxBit, or BitWave)
Direct experience with SEC Pre-clearance, Purchase Accounting (ASC 805), and DeFi Accounting
The ability to partner with Trading and BizDev teams to assess the accounting impact of DeFi yields and 'wrapped' assets before they launch
Proven ability to create SOPs for offshore teams to improve month-end cadence.
