Role Overview
- Work as an Underwriting Assistant during the initial rotation
- Gradually take on additional responsibilities and advance to Underwriter I
- Learn the technical aspects of insurance
- Build relationships with our broker partners
- Manage challenging business cases and complete courses to obtain the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
Requirements
- Recent or imminent university graduate (graduation: Spring 2024 to Spring 2026)
- Strong academic record
- Customer service experience
- Ability to balance and prioritize work and studies
- Interest in developing a career in underwriting and pursuing the CIP designation
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions
- Bilingual (French/English)
