Data Security Intern

Role Overview

• Research and analyze industry best practices in data security.
• Assist in identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Support the technical team in security awareness initiatives.
• Propose ideas to improve data protection, access control, and compliance.
• Help with documentation of policies, security checklists, and risk reports.

Requirements

• Strong interest in cybersecurity and IT security frameworks.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Ability to clearly document findings and proposals.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity concepts (encryption, authentication, firewalls).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security features.
• Coursework or projects in IT security, networks, or computer science.
