Ensure all development aligns with established architecture and design guidelines.
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of OpenSolar’s Design Tool and related systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and bugs reported by users or internal teams, ensuring timely, high-quality fixes.
Participate in on-call rotations, providing technical support during incidents to ensure uptime and reliability.
Conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues and maintain software quality standards.
Estimate, plan, and execute technical tasks related to bug fixes, minor enhancements, and maintenance projects.
Proactively enhance internal tools, monitoring systems, and support processes to improve operational efficiency.
Manage testing, deployment, and release processes for system updates.
Follow and promote secure software development best practices.
Collaborate effectively with senior developers and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Strong full stack software engineering expertise.
Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in full stack software development.
Preferred Technologies: Python, Django, React, JavaScript, MySQL, Single Page Applications (SPAs), and AWS services (Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS).
Demonstrated proficiency in software engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, and version control.
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, open, and collaborative working style.

Understanding of consumer finance, B2C payments, and integrated e-commerce solutions (Desirable).
