Requirements

15+ years of professional experience in technology partnerships, business development, alliance management, related strategic relationship roles with increasing responsibility
Proven track record of driving private sector and/or government revenue through private sector collaborations
Proven ability to define a multi-year partnership strategy, including the development of channel partner programs and indirect revenue models
Experience working closely with Executive, Product, and Engineering leadership to align external market opportunities with internal roadmaps and operational capacity
Expert-level skills in negotiating complex commercial agreements, MOUs, and revenue-sharing contracts.
Strong "opportunity spotter" mentality with experience managing a disciplined partnership pipeline in CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot) and meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Deep understanding of the technology ecosystem, including SaaS business models, AI/ML deployment trends, and the B2G (Business-to-Government) procurement landscape
Exceptional presence and communication skills, with the ability to build high-level relationships with corporate VPs and C-suite executives at private sector organizations
Familiarity with AI technologies, trends, and their implications for public sector service delivery
Track record of success in high-growth or rapidly changing environments, with the ability to iterate on strategy based on market feedback and organizational needs
Skilled collaborator who thrives in interdisciplinary environments and works effectively with senior executives and peers across multiple disciplines.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-moving technological change with judgment and composure.
Deep commitment to Code for America’s mission and an understanding of how private-sector innovation can be harnessed for social impact.

Collaborative working hours: we aim to hold all internal meetings between 10 AM
3 PM PT. We expect all Code for America staff to be available during these set working hours
Open personal time off, a minimum of 16 paid holidays, and an org-wide closure from Christmas Day through New Year's Day
