Develop and implement effective account-based selling strategies for the Alzheimer’s portfolio in Portugal, leveraging digital tools and platforms for customer engagement.
Manage accounts comprehensively across different specialties, ensuring patient flow within the assigned sales territory, identifying growth opportunities, and maximizing product penetration.
Map AD stakeholders to ensure early and accurate diagnosis of patients eligible for treatment.
Plan based on insights, using information from multiple sources (including digital analytics) to design and execute impactful account plans.
Regularly visit physicians and other healthcare professionals to present product information, respond to questions, and provide scientific support—both in-person and through virtual channels.
Accurately and promptly report sales activities and market trends using company systems and digital reporting tools.
Organize and participate in promotional events, congresses, and scientific meetings to increase product visibility and build relationships with key opinion leaders.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, ecosystem managers, KAM and medical affairs to ensure the success of commercial strategies.
Demonstrate teamwork, humility, and a willingness to support and learn from colleagues.
Maintain deep knowledge of the Alzheimer’s diagnostic environment, our products, competitors, and the pharmaceutical market.
Utilize CRM systems, data analytics, and digital marketing resources to optimize territory management and customer engagement.
Apply in the day to day job digital trends/solutions to enhance sales effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Fluent in Portuguese and English.
Based in Portugal and authorized to work locally.
Professional experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical sales (neurology or CNS experience preferred).
Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s care pathway.
General understanding or willingness to learn about the Portuguese health system.
Strong learning agility, self-motivation, teamwork, and emotional intelligence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to use digital tools for sales, customer engagement, and territory management.
Experience with CRM systems, virtual presentations, and digital marketing is highly valued.
Experience launching new products in the CNS/neurology area.
Demonstrated business ownership, customer experience, and results orientation.
