About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for leading the technological strategy, execution, and innovation across Centene's Medicare markets
Oversee the IT operations and strategies within those markets
Collaborate with key business and technology stakeholders to envision, develop, and implement leading technology-enabled business solutions
Develop and maintain a comprehensive information technology roadmap
Conduct research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to gain a deep understanding of the Medicare market landscape
Build and maintain relationships with key Medicare business partners, clients, and stakeholders
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality solutions
Partner with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to identify and mitigate IT-related risks
Develop and manage the IT budget for activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field required
10+ years of relevant experience with a significant portion dedicated to solution development and management preferred
Strong knowledge and experience in technology delivery management principles, methodologies, and best practices
Demonstrated success in driving technology strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions
Ability to work and collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organization and deliver desired business outcomes
In-depth understanding of software development lifecycles, technologies, and emerging trends relevant to the organization's industry
Proficiency in agile methodologies, product management strategies, UX/UI design, data analytics, and cloud computing required
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic technology roadmap plans aligned with business goals and market demands
A solid understanding of business operations, revenue models, and market dynamics is important, preferably within the healthcare segment.
