Role Overview
Responsible for assessing how new investments and changing requirements affect the regulatory reports and filings produced by the Shareholder Reporting Team.
Evaluate complex instruments (e.g., derivatives, short securities, alternative and digital assets), emerging regulatory changes, and complex and innovative products.
Assemble critical information and coordinate analyses for production team leads to interpret impacts.
Create requirement summaries to inform the Shareholder Reporting staff and to highlight impacted products and deliverables.
Facilitate meetings and collaborate with internal team leaders to capture operational demands of new requirements.
Summarize and communicate impacts of new requirements to Senior Management and key business partners.
Coordinate and maintain documentation for ongoing reference and support implementation of new processes.
Coordinate and deliver training to improve understanding of new and changing requirements among staff.
Demonstrate initiative in growing knowledge to support readiness for new changes impacting the business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience preferred including financial services experience with an asset manager, audit firm or custodian bank, preferably in administration for investment funds.
CPA preferred
Familiarity with regulatory reports and filings for investment companies including their operational support processes.
Investment product knowledge including investment structures and their regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Research skills including the ability to capture information about a topic, review that information and analyze and interpret the details in a way to support a solution.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent high priority assignments and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proficiency in various PC software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
