Drive adoption of Xeneta's ocean and air freight intelligence platform to modernize how enterprises procure and manage freight.
Build a strong understanding of the Xeneta platform and data, and clearly explain how it helps customers solve specific freight and procurement challenges and achieve measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in sales or business development within Logistics & Supply Chain, freight forwarding, shipping, or adjacent industries, meaning you have obtained solid industry knowledge in ocean/air freight.
Experience managing and coordinating Tender / RFQ with Ocean Freight procurement teams.
Demonstrated ability to grow and manage a sales pipeline, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strategic thinking and execution capability — you can identify high-value opportunities, craft compelling outreach, and operate with discipline in high-pressure, target-driven environments.
A builder mentality is a must — comfortable building from the ground up in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting, with clear ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to build rapport across cultures and seniority levels throughout the APAC region.
Fluent in English (required).
Additionally, we are looking for someone with the ability and willingness for frequent travel across the APAC region.
Bonus Points:
Prior experience as Pricing Executive, Tender Support Executive, Tender Manager in Freight Forwarding or Ocean carriers.
Background in marine sensor or offshore service business development.
Strong C-suite network in ocean freight shipping industry.
Fluency in Japanese language.
