Senior Marketing Proposal Coordinator – AEC

Role Overview

• Work alongside our Quincy-based Marketing Manager in pursuit of new work, with an emphasis on projects in the northeastern United States.
• Assist with the retrieval and tracking of requests for proposals/qualifications and help with go/no-go discussions.
• Lead proposal plan preparation and drive proposal kick-off discussions.
• Develop compelling firm qualifications, proposals, and presentation materials in support of Apex’s business initiatives. Includes layout, writing, and coordination.
• Assist with the writing, cataloging, and updating of project materials, such as profiles, team resumes, and client references.
• Produce proposals in person, as needed, from either the Quincy, MA or Woburn, MA office.
• Travel to client locations to deliver proposals, as needed.
• Support special events and trade shows, on occasion.
• Perform tasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.
• Update the client relationship management (CRM) system and related databases.
• Fulfill other Marketing tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a marketer in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry or other professional services fields.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent writing and copyediting capabilities.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
• Highly motivated, willing to be part of our Apex team and enhance our marketing efforts.
• Ability to travel to the office in Woburn, MA, or Quincy, MA, for proposal production, and to client locations for proposal delivery.
• Ability to travel between offices for related tasks on occasion.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving history and reliable transportation.
