Work alongside our Quincy-based Marketing Manager in pursuit of new work, with an emphasis on projects in the northeastern United States.
Assist with the retrieval and tracking of requests for proposals/qualifications and help with go/no-go discussions.
Lead proposal plan preparation and drive proposal kick-off discussions.
Develop compelling firm qualifications, proposals, and presentation materials in support of Apex’s business initiatives. Includes layout, writing, and coordination.
Assist with the writing, cataloging, and updating of project materials, such as profiles, team resumes, and client references.
Produce proposals in person, as needed, from either the Quincy, MA or Woburn, MA office.
Travel to client locations to deliver proposals, as needed.
Support special events and trade shows, on occasion.
Perform tasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.
Update the client relationship management (CRM) system and related databases.
Fulfill other Marketing tasks as needed.
Requirements
Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a marketer in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry or other professional services fields.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent writing and copyediting capabilities.
Strong communications skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
Highly motivated, willing to be part of our Apex team and enhance our marketing efforts.
Ability to travel to the office in Woburn, MA, or Quincy, MA, for proposal production, and to client locations for proposal delivery.
Ability to travel between offices for related tasks on occasion.
Valid driver's license, safe driving history and reliable transportation.
