Act as Java Developer and Team Lead responsible for enhancement and maintenance of Alpha/Charles River Development modules
Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create sustainable software solutions
Direct problem solving for projects or major phases of projects
Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using Java
Provide informed guidance during code reviews
Provide troubleshooting on large, mission critical client implementations
Engage in the agile software development process adhering to CRD scrum methodology
Plan and coordinate cross-team activities groups
Mentor and guide Junior Engineers

At least 7 years of experience with full lifecycle of project development for Java applications
2 years of experience in leading the team
Strong skills in core Java, server-side Java technologies, and Spring frameworks using Agile methodologies and SQL database
Experience in backend technologies like Kafka, Microservices
At least 1-2 years of experience leading a team of 6 -10 people
Experience / understanding of Kubernetes
Experience with a cloud platform: Azure, etc.
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with object-oriented programming
Relational databases (RDBMS), scripting and new/advanced programming languages
Experience Frontend technologies like React
Experience in financial services developing solutions for Wealth Management
