Role Overview
- Execute audit and advisory assignments according to department standards
- Develop an understanding of the risks being handled by the unit being assessed
- Assist in audit planning and deliver on the audit plan
- Prepare well-articulated audit working papers and findings
- Communicate expectations regarding work deadlines and deliverables
- Lead SOX processes and provide oversight during walkthrough and testing phases
- Build and maintain positive relationships with management
- Mentor junior staff
Requirements
- A university degree is required
- 3 to 5 years of internal or external audit, risk management, or equivalent business or advisory/consulting experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand business processes and their risk implications
- Ability to work efficiently in diverse environments and cultures
- Knowledge of data analysis tools is preferred
- Knowledge of audit methodologies, control frameworks, risk management practices, and SOX requirements is preferred
- A recognized accounting (CPA, CA) or auditing (CIA, CISA) designation is preferable but not essential
