Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions for client businesses
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with clients and client representatives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions
Provides clients with advice on the financial implications of business activities
Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation
Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
Works on proposals and assists in developing new business
Supervises engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm
Oversees all aspects of the client engagement, including workpaper review, financial reporting, and managing the external audit process
Supervises, trains and evaluates advanced level staff
Expands services to existing clients
Coaches, mentors, and assists staff so they can develop
Assists with technical accounting research and workpaper documentation
Performs Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis and proactively provides strategic insights as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
5+ years of either public or private accounting experience
