Design buildings and heavy industrial structures in accordance with design codes and standards published by ICC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
Concrete and structural steel design, including vibration analysis.
Use RISA, STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, LPILE and other structural software.
Determine client requirements and develop reports, specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents.
Assist in the preparation of engineering estimates and design schedules for projects.
Evaluate the need for design changes and communicate appropriate recommendations to project manager or clients.
Serve as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
Consult with construction personnel on design constructability as related to field conditions.
Visit construction sites to monitor progress, make structural observations.
Lead multiple, concurrent projects.
Develop less experienced members through project task delegation.
Conduct QA/QC reviews on structural calculations, specifications, and drawings.

Experience in the design of heavy industrial structures and equipment foundations associated with power generation facilities, in compliance with design codes and standards published by IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
Proficient in concrete and structural steel design.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members.
Software: RISA or STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile or MFAD (optional), AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu
PE License or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
